Domaine de Haute Perche

Located in the heart of the Aubance Valley, just 10 km from Angers, Domaine de Haute Perche spans 35 hectares of biodynamically managed soils within the Anjou Noir terroirs.

Founded in the 1960s and acquired by wine enthusiast Thierry Denjean in 2019, Haute Perche highlights the unique combination of the gentle Aubance River and powerful schist. The vineyards are in three locations: Saint-Melaine-sur-Aubance, Huttières overlooking the Aubance River, and Soulaines-sur-Aubance. Each site offers distinct terroirs with varying exposures, sub-soils, and slopes, featuring a spectrum of schist colors (red, green, ochre, and blue).

Winemaking at Haute Perche focuses on honoring the fruit to reflect its origins, with a special tribute to the Chenin grape variety, producing exceptional dry, sweet, and sparkling white wines.

Committed to preserving their terroir, the estate aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2025 through measures like solar roofs, bottle reuse, and rainwater collection.
