Domaine Bersan

Domaine Bersan is a family run winery by Jean Christophe Bersan and his father Jean-Louis. They grow their vines combining traditional methods and new techniques. Indeed, the 20 ha harvest is vinified in a modern cellar. Wines from their oldest vines are matured in oak barrels in 11th and 12th century cellars located in the heart of the village of Saint Bris. The cellars are linked to a network of underground passages built by the Templar monks.

The estate is certified organic as of 2012. Farming and winemaking are made in the most natural way possible, in order to best preserve and express their Terroirs located in Saint Bris, Chablis and Irancy. These Terroirs come from the Portlandian geological stratum on the clay-limestone plateaux and from the Kimmeridgian stratum on the clay-limestone slopes.

Wines of character with great purity.
